Abstract
The article explores the role of adaptive management in ensuring the resilience of agricultural production under wartime risks. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the need for the implementation of adaptive managerial approaches in agricultural production systems operating in a destabilized environment, particularly in light of the growing number of external threats and internal transformations caused by war. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the critical vulnerability of the agricultural sector to military actions that disrupt logistics, infrastructure, labor resources, and the financial stability of agricultural enterprises.
The study analyzed key concepts of adaptive management and identified the main tools and approaches capable of enhancing the resilience of agricultural production. A comparative analysis of the management strategies of agricultural enterprises in peacetime and wartime was conducted, structural changes in decision-making processes, resource provision, and risk management were identified. The advantages of flexible planning, decentralization of management functions, digital monitoring, and the use of scenario modeling for adaptation to crisis conditions were substantiated.
As a result of the study, conclusions were drawn regarding the key role of adaptive management in maintaining the economic and functional stability of agricultural production under wartime conditions. The obtained results have scientific novelty in the systematization of adaptation mechanisms of management processes to emergency circumstances and practical value for agricultural enterprises seeking to minimize risks and ensure operational continuity. Further research perspectives include the development of adaptive management models tailored to the specifics of wartime and post-war challenges in the agricultural sector.
